Melinda helps adults break free from anxiety and feel like themselves again.
Especially a strong fit for high-functioning adults— C level professionals, caregivers, and individuals in high-responsibility roles—who feel overwhelmed, stuck in overthinking, or constantly on edge.
With over 30 years of experience, she specializes in working with individuals navigating anxiety, chronic stress, and the lingering effects of difficult life experiences. Many of the people she works with are capable and successful on the outside, but internally feel exhausted, stuck, or disconnected from themselves.
Her approach is practical, supportive, and insight-driven—helping clients understand what’s happening beneath the surface while building the skills needed to feel calmer, more grounded, and more in control of their lives.
In addition to anxiety treatment, she works with couples who want to improve communication, navigate conflict more effectively, and rebuild connection. She has training in the Gottman Method and integrates research-based strategies to help couples create lasting change.
She also incorporates Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT), an innovative, evidence-based approach for individuals experiencing chronic pain, helping retrain the brain’s response to pain and reduce symptoms.
Her style is warm, collaborative, and deeply informed by decades of experience across private practice, medical, and community-based settings. She draws from evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), always tailoring treatment to each client’s goals.
